Location: Finance and Accounting Department

Reports to: Controller

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Works with: Executive Leadership Team, line managers

Job Summary: Assist the leadership team with legal issues regarding the business. Review legal documentation for accuracy and ensure the specified documentation will hold up in a court of law. Ensure Tozour Energy Systems’ is compliant in all areas, specifically regarding contract law and employment law.

Duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Review, modify, and make available terms and conditions for Tozour Energy Systems’ sales and purchases.
•Review and modify selected Sales Agreements.
•Review and modify Separation Agreements and separation paperwork.
•Review and modify Manual of Policies and Procedures.
•Work with selected managers to review legal documentation related to the business.
•Review contracts and other legal documentation regarding jobs.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
•Prepares reports and correspondence, answers telephones and maintains files.
•Operate a variety of standard office machines, including a personal computer and a variety of computer software, phone, and fax, calculator, shredding machine, and copy machine.
•Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
•Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
•Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:Education and/or Experience:
Must be in pursuit of a law degree, specializing in employment law or contract law. Must have completed a four year bachelor’s program with an accredited college or university. Must have excellent communication and written skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to work with all levels of staff and maintain strict confidentiality of information.

Personal Situation: Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours when required
