Service Account Manager

Description:Responsible for the acquisition and development of long-term customer relationships in the form of service contracts, enhancements, and other value-based solutions.
Duties:Under General supervision, manages and grows assigned group of accounts and assigned territory.

Cold call potential clients for new service sales opportunities including service agreements, time and material, retrofits, controls and mechanical equipment.

Develops and builds long-term relationships, focusing on customer retention and satisfaction/loyalty.

Achieves booking and gross margin goals.

Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory.

Team sells with other sales people as appropriate.

Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.

Works with operations, finance, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.

Ensures smooth sales to operations turnover and monitors progress. Assists in resolving collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed.

Assists customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable solutions accordingly.

Prepares accurate sales reports, forecast reports and expense tracking.

Continues personal and professional development by participating in organizations, workshops and seminars. Keeps current on market business and product trends.

Prioritizes workload and request to ensure customer and employee satisfaction are delivered.

Other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:Requires a bachelorís degree in engineering, business, or a similar field with 2 to 5 years of experience in sales in the HVAC industry.

Must be able to multi-task in high-stress situations.

Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone and through written communication. Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and willing to utilize team selling.

Must be able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must have a valid driverís license.

Sales personality is a must!
